A Family Business on Burwood Highway

Gully Slice & Grill is a family-owned and operated kebab house at Shop 5, Ferntree Plaza, 1202 Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully.

We took over this site in 2025 with a simple goal: give the local area a proper charcoal chicken and kebab shop. One where the food is made fresh, the portions are fair, and the prices make sense.

The shop has been a food outlet on Burwood Highway for years. Under new ownership, we have updated the menu, installed fresh equipment, and brought in a shawarma program alongside our charcoal chicken rotisserie.

What We Stand For

We keep things straightforward. Fresh ingredients, cooked to order where possible, and served without fuss. Our charcoal chicken runs on the rotisserie throughout the day. The kebab meat is shaved fresh for every order. Pizzas are made from scratch.

All our meat is halal certified. We serve the entire community and everyone gets the same standard of food and service.

We are not a chain. We are not a franchise. We are a family running a local shop. The owner is on-site daily, working alongside the team.

Our Menu

We built the menu around three core items: charcoal chicken, shawarma kebabs, and pizza. Around those, we offer halal snack packs, burgers, schnitzel, parma, hot chips, and sides. We stock meals and deals for families, combo packs for groups, and junior bites for kids. The full menu is available for dine-in and takeaway, with delivery through Uber Eats and DoorDash.

Charcoal Chicken

Whole, half, and quarter charcoal chicken cooked over open flame. Available with chips, rice, or as a meal deal. The rotisserie runs all day.

Shawarma Kebabs

Lamb, chicken, and mixed shawarma rolled in Lebanese bread with fresh salad, tomato, onion, and your choice of sauces. Falafel rolls also available.

Pizza

Over 20 pizza options. Chicken, meat, and vegetarian. Medium from $13.99, large from $17.99. Family deals available.

We are on Burwood Highway in Upper Ferntree Gully, inside Ferntree Plaza (the strip of shops near the railway station). Street parking is available out front.
