Looking for a halal snack pack in Melbourne’s east? Gully Slice & Grill serves loaded HSPs from our shop on Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully. Choose chicken, lamb, or mixed meat piled on top of hot chips, covered in cheese and your choice of sauces.

We make every HSP to order. The meat is shaved fresh off the spit, the chips are cooked hot, and everything goes into the box together so the cheese melts through. No reheated leftovers.

What Goes Into Our HSP

A halal snack pack starts with a base of hot chips. We pile on freshly shaved kebab meat (chicken, lamb, or a mix of both). Then we cover it in melted cheese and finish with sauces. The small is a solid feed for one person. The medium works if you are hungry or sharing with someone. The large is for serious appetites or sharing between two.
All meat is halal certified. The chips are cooked in vegetable oil.

I thought this was just a charcoal chicken shop, but once I got there, I was surprised to see they also sell kebabs, burgers, fried chicken, pizza, and so much more. There were so many options to choose from! This time we went with pizza and fried chicken, and both were amazing. The pizza was loaded with meat and cheese—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with nice big pieces that were totally worth it. We ordered the family deal with 2 large pizzas, garlic bread, a 1.25L drink, and 10 pieces of fried chicken. And I have to mention the chips, honestly some of the best we’ve ever had! Perfectly crispy with just the right amount of salt. The owner himself served us, and he was very friendly and welcoming. Great customer service and even better food. Absolutely loved the food here! The charcoal chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy on the inside, with that classic smoky flavour you can only get from real charcoal grilling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and take pride in what they serve. But the real surprise was the chips, crispy, golden, and seasoned just right. Honestly, some of the best chips I’ve had anywhere. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and quick, and the place was clean and welcoming. Great value for money too. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommended if you love good charcoal chicken and perfectly cooked chips!
